| Sumario: | This paper focuses on teaching of Argentina's recent history at the school in order to analyze the topics and perspectives that teachers choose to teach the last dictatorship. The most chosen topics are the characteristic features of state terrorism, the economic consequences and the political principles (instead of the causes and collective responsibility) These options are linked to representations of social memory, to school culture and traditions of history as school discipline. Also become more viable in certain institutions. Therefore, the thematic choices show that teaching practices are timely, contingent and situated. |
