Formal sum of pairing diagrams

Sumario:A method to summarize the connected diagrams of the master equation for the quantum fluids obtained elsewhere is used to obtain a compact expression of a set of diagrams which we call « pairing diagrams ». An integral equation is obtained. The particular interest of the method is that the set of diagrams is the same which results from the effective hamiltonian of Bardeen, Cooper and Schrieffer of superconductivity. Diagrams with repeated indices have to be excluded. © 1963 Società Italiana di Fisica.
