Sumario:Potassium-Argon chronology of the Copahue-Caviahue Effusive Complex, Neuquen Province. K/Ar ages from the Copahue-Caviahue Effusive Complex indicate that there are discrete time intervals between the principal volcanic events related with its evolution. The principal units may be correlated with three eruptive epochs (Pre-caldera, Las Mellizas and Copahue) whose respective radiometric ages are, 4.3 Ma, 2.6-2.0 Ma, and 1.4 Ma to the present. © 1999 Asociación Geológien Argentina.
