Sumario: | Parmotrema alidactylatum Estrabou & Adler and P. soredioaliphaticum Estrabou & Adler are described as new species in the Parmeliaceae sensu stricto. The former is morphologically very similar to P. tsavoense Krog & Swinscow (an African endemic) differing mainly in its medullary chemistry, while the latter is the sorediate-dactylate morph of P. alidactylatum. Both new species are so far only known from the type locality in Argentina. |
