Sumario: | Twenty species of the genus Hypotrachyna (Vain.) Hale have been recorded following an intensive survey of the Segundo Planalto of the state of Paraná (southern Brazil). This has resulted in the known distribution of 16 species being extended, with H. pustulifera (Hale) Skorepa reported for the first time for South America. H. eitenii (Hale) Hale, H. malmei (Lynge) Hale and H. primitiva Hale & López-Fig. are recorded for the first time outside their type localities. H. minima (Lynge) Hale is synonymized with H. malmei (Lynge) Hale. Significant new chemical data are recorded for 14 of the species. |
