Sumario:Scaling behaviour analysis of wavelet filtered EEG (without muscle activity) generalized tonic-clonic epileptic seizures are presented. In particular we show using the Multifractal Detrented Fluctuation Analysis (MF-DFA) that the epileptic recruitment rhythm observed in this kind of epileptic seizures present monofractal scaling behaviour, with lower values for the clonic than the tonic phases. © EDP Sciences/ Societa Italiana di Fisica/Springer-Verlag 2007.
