These actions shaped a process that beganin the mid-1970s and continues to the present day. From the analysis of the Museum  Archive and some scientific publications, it is possible to establish a close link between these  archaeological interventions, theinstitutional policy and the theoretical perspectives of each time. This relationship would be evidencingremarkable differences that lie mainly in the way of conceiving heritage. From these differences, we will try to analyze how those developed projects, with different views, intervened in El Tero archaeological site.
