Sumario:This article presents the results obtained from the anthracological analysis from the Alero Los Guanacos 1 archaeological site, located in the northwest of Santa Cruz province and the beginning of the occupation is from the middle Holocene. From the identifying coals analysis of this archaeological site, and in close connection with other lines of evidence made, such as lithic and archaeofaunal analysis, we suggests as a general interest contribute information to the late settlement model of Patagonia Midwest. The Obtained results have allowed evaluating aspects related to mobility and capture areas of plant resources used as fuel.
