| Sumario: | We publish the information obtained from recent field work developed in Antofagasta de la Sierra, in the context of previous and present research focused on the social dynamics of the agro-pastoral groups who inhabited the region since ca. 3000 years BP to the Spanish conquest (ca. 450 years BP). We describe recently identified archaeological localities and new data about previously known sites. We discuss preliminarily this information in relation to the proposed economic, social and political models. |
