Sumario:This paper examines the formativeprocess of the CGTA as an articulatorof the political oppositionto the self-styled “Argentine Revolution”.The object of this investigationis to analyze the associativecomponents existing in theArgentine trade unionism, whichallowed to promote the workers’protest in the context of the dictatorialgovernment of Juan CarlosOnganía. It is examined how specificforms of political interventionwere projected from this central laborforce that made possible theirarticulation with the demands ofdifferent political and social groupsthat nurtured modalities of politicalintervention at the dawn of theCordobazo.
