| Sumario: | This article is the partial result of a research that developed the characteristics of the graphic press of Córdoba -Argentina- in the 1960s. As part of this study, the news of the local newspapers with the largest circulation in 1969 was analyzed in relation to the Cordobazo, bearing in mind that it was a social event that marked the course of Cordovan and Argentine politics during that decade. More specifically, the headlines of the media notes were analyzed, as an approximation to the relationship between the media and the symbolic struggle that was visualized through the use of certain elements when building a story.
This paper aims to disseminate the importance of the historical event, as well as to highlight the importance of the role of the media when it comes to publicizing an event. |
