Sumario:The purpose of this article is to share the study of writing from different approaches and movements that conceive it as a complex, multidimensional, multifunctional and highly contextualized practice and its relationship with the profound transformations caused by digital technologies. The main focuses of interest of the research carried out within the framework of these perspectives will be addressed, as well as their implications in the training processes and in democratization policies based on principles of inclusion with quality in higher education within the framework of educational systems internationally expanding.
