The objective of the sequence was to investigate the local history of Las Tolderías and the Moqoit community in the region and to redefine the existing relationships with members of the same people who currently live in the northwest of Santa Fe by exchanging messages in Moqoit and Spanish between students from schools in both provinces. In this way, it was proposed, on the one hand, to favor an instance of practical and meaningful use of the Moqoit language and, on the other hand, to generate in the classroom a space for reflection on the shared history and local linguistic varieties. The sequence was elaborated with the contribution of researchers (anthropologists and linguists), teachers and directors of educational institutions, and members of the Moqoit community. Likewise, the work in the classroom is carried out in pedagogical pairs. Esta secuencia didáctica se realizó en el marco del programa “Las científicas y los científicos van a la escuela” (Res. 0182/2 de la Universidad Nacional del Nordeste) en tres instituciones educativas ubicadas en el sudoeste de la provincia del Chaco a las que acuden estudiantes pertenecientes a la comunidad moqoit. El objetivo de la secuencia fue investigar acerca de la historia local del paraje Las Tolderías y de la comunidad moqoit de la región, y resignificar las relaciones existentes con integrantes del mismo pueblo que habitan, actualmente, en el noroeste de Santa Fe, a partir de intercambiar mensajes en lengua moqoit y en español, entre estudiantes de escuelas de ambas provincias. De este modo, se propuso, por un lado, favorecer una instancia de uso práctico y con sentido de la lengua moqoit y, por el otro, generar en el aula un espacio de reflexión en torno a la historia compartida y las variedades lingüísticas locales. La secuencia fue elaborada con el aporte de investigares/as (antropólogos y lingüistas), docentes y directivos de las instituciones educativas y miembros de la comunidad moqoit. Asimismo, el trabajo en el aula se realiza en parejas pedagógicas.
