Sumario:This research is based on the study of the effect, use and application of Videoconference as a teaching resource in the Latin American universities’ higher education, in the prepandemic stage COVID-19 taking as a case study the National University of Cordoba and the Universidad Empresarial  Siglo XXI Argentina, where in recent years a Videoconference system was  implemented, from which through a combination of virtual resource utilization, collaborative work and face to face meetings. The empirical contribution provided by principals, teachers and students of these institutions, together with the analysis of theoretical contributions on the subject describe the reach, use and application of this educational resource that focuses on ICT as a virtual axis and the common denominator in the Latin American higher education sphere.
