Sumario:This study examines the perception of landscape among three groups of children living in different urban contexts, drawing upon the phenomenological paradigm and the insights of Merleau-Ponty's "The Phenomenology of Perception." The research investigates how children perceive their surroundings and how their perceptions reflect the interplay of nature and culture. The findings indicate that children are more sensitive to stimuli from the built environment, potentially hindering their understanding of natural cycles and processes. This suggests a need to integrate landscape into children's education and everyday experiences to foster meaningful learning and emotional connections with their environment, ultimately contributing to a more sustainable future.
