| Sumario: | This study attempts to identify and describe both national and provincial public policies aimed at promoting population´s environmental literacy, that is, their training as future responsible citizens and participants in informed decision-making to ensure the right to live in a healthy environment. The analysis includes official documents and proposals related to primary schools and teacher training programs, since the enactment of the National Education Law No 26,206 in 2006, until 2020. This study shows a growing promotion of environmental literacy, although it is still necessary to continue fostering its effective implementation. |
