Sumario:The People's Economy can be considered as a political actor in itself; the consensus places within it all the economic activities and practices of subsistence, sustained or not in time, in constant tension with the social, and which are carried out by subjects who are marginalized from the formal labor world. The re-construction of this sector as emergent is key to think the organizational practices of the moment that are developed in Argentina. It is in this sense that we propose an analysis of the popular economy from the collective action, represented in the Confederation of Workers of the Popular Economy (CTEP). Firstly, we propose a concept of Popular Economy, secondly, its relationship with collective action, and finally, a brief description of CTEP.
