| Sumario: | It is the aim of this article to achieve a revaluation of the subject of desire. The starting point will be the renewed return to Freud, which comes from the text The Direction of The Cure and The Principles of its Power (Lacan, 1958 [2008]). We are going to take into consideration the political context, Lacan’s interlocution and the answers he elaborates around the primacy of the symbolic matter: key to the reading of that moment of his teaching. From this perspective, the purpose of the significant of desire as a vital clinical operator that shakes the phallic aspiration is highlighted. It also opens an innovative horizon of end of analysis. |
