| Sumario: | Archaeological sites detected in the inland plains of Entre Ríos province are located mainly on alluvial stripes of major fluvial courses. Many of these sites correspond to surfacial contexts with pottery sherds and lithic fragments. In this paper we present the geoarchaeological studies developed in a stratigraphical context of the inland plains, the site Laguna del Negro 1. Trough this studies we explore the links between pre-Hispanic settlements and fluvial dynamics of major plain rivers. We also present the analysis of a wide pottery sample through which we could delineate the pottery production sequences of study area and contextualize surface pottery assemblages. |
