En esta nota se presenta la identificación de plantas empleadas como alimento en el paraje histórico Guayascate (Córdoba, Argentina). Los microrrestos botánicos en fragmentos cerámicos infieren el consumo de maíz, algarrobo y palmera caranday, especies nativas que formaron parte de la subsistencia de los grupos prehispánicos de la región de Sierras Centrales. Nesta nota, é apresentada a identificação de plantas utilizadas como alimento no sítio histórico de Guayascate (Córdoba, Argentina). Os microrrestos botânicos encontrados em fragmentos cerâmicos indicam o consumo de milho, alfarroba e palmeira caranday, espécies nativas que fizeram parte da subsistência dos grupos pré-hispânicos da região das Sierras Centrales.
