It is suggested that the bucal pathology favours the noxious action of 1 131. Se estudió la cavidad bucal de 33 pacientes hipertiroideos tratados con 1 131. El 81,8% de los pacientes refirió sensaciones dicenestésicas diversas que aparecían dentro de los tres ocuatro primeros días que seguían a su administración, desapareciendo las mismas antes de los 1 O días. Se remarca la importancia del conocimiento de este hecho para poder evitar inútiles mutilaciones dentarias. Se destaca la ausencia de tales manifestaciones en un paciente con la boca aparentemente normal.
