There, Aller made the first descriptions of the region, performed the first baptisms and developed a vocabulary of the local language. That entrance in 1668 began the spiritual conquest in the llanos de Mojos, where de Jesuit reductions were founded in the 17th and 18th centuries. En 1668 Julián de Aller SJ, dejó el rectorado de la Universidad San Francisco Xavier de Chuquisaca con la misión de internarse en la zona selvática de los llanos de Mojos. Allí, el Padre Aller hizo las primeras descripciones breves de la región, efectuó los primeros bautismos y elaboró un arte y vocabulario de la lengua local. Aquel ingreso de 1668 inició la conquista espiritual en los llanos Mojos, donde se fundaron reducciones jesuíticas en el siglo XVII y XVIII.
