Sumario:Towards the end of the sixties and during the seventies, the Movimiento de Sacerdotes para el Tercer Mundo [Third World Priest Movement - MSTM] was created. This Movement developed projects in relation to worries about inequality and social justice in marginal and poor areas. In the Northeast region of Argentina, in the province of Chaco, missions for performing social outreach tasks were carried out. This research investigates the educational processes that were developed by the MSTM in some parts of El Impenetrable. The hypothesis is that these territorial educational experiences constitute the precedents of what we currently know as the Intercultural Bilingual Education method (EIB). Recovering and documenting these experiences allows us to ask ourselves about the relationship between territories, identities and the Nation-State regarding education, as well as housing, living, health and job conditions. In this sense, it is intended to make the first systematizations of educational actions that were recorded, based on the life trajectory of Marta Tomé. Regarding work in education, she was the one who drove and continues to act as leader – pioneer about this subject in different places of the country. Additionally, this investigation is part of the methodological investigation. That is to say, of the potential of combining the biographical approach and the ethnographic investigation in Anthropology and Education. The life story as method, in this case, plays an essential role in order to recover the social and educational memory of these experiences from its referents.
