Particularly, come tensions and tendencies about the founding stage, paying attention not only to the regulations but also to the subjects, practices and pedagogies in dispute. It is sustained in the analysis that these institutions were erected and consolidated by putting into play processes that were defined on different scales, with a multiplicity of actors, in the complex plot between nation and provinces and between tradition and modernization, in school settings regulated by regulations that tended towards homogenization but characterized by heterogeneity. En este artículo se sistematizan resultados de investigación en torno al proceso de fundación y vida cotidiana de las Escuelas Normales en la provincia de Córdoba en el período que se extiende desde 1878 hasta fines de la década de 1920. En particular, se presentan tensiones y tendencias de la etapa fundacional, reparando no sólo en la normativa sino en los sujetos, las prácticas y las pedagogías en disputa. A partir del análisis de fuentes del Archivo de Gobierno, en particular actas de sesiones del Consejo Provincial de Educación y documentación remitida por las autoridades de estas escuelas, se analizan algunos rasgos de la creación y consolidación de estas escuelas, procesos que se definieron en diferentes escalas, con una multiplicidad de actores, en la compleja trama entre nación y provincias y entre tradición y modernización, en escenarios escolares regulados por normativas que tendieron a la homogeneización, pero caracterizados por la heterogeneidad.
