Sumario:This was a cross sectional descriptive field study. The population was made up of external users attending parent school during the period described. An intentional nonprobabilistic sample was selected, formed by 85 parents sent by the Commission for the Protection of Children and Adolescents of the Municipality of Guaicaipuro in the stateof Miranda. Observation and survey were the chosen techniques for data gathering and the Lickert questionnaire was used to obtain information; validation was done through experts’ judgments and reliability was calculated according to Cronbach’s Alpha coefficient. External users have a positive opinion about the Parent school at Dr. Victorino Santaella Hospital regarding topics, content, methodology, number of meetings, group work techniques, skills developed by the facilitators, opening hours, fulfillment of established rules and schedules, audio-visual material, venue, and accessibility, and they feel their initial expectations have been fulfilled.
