Young. With this aim, one hundred women of low socioeconomic status, who lived in Buenos Aires (Argentina), were assessed with the SCID-II psychiatric interview and the AMAI-2018 and YSQ-L2 questionnaires. Results indicated significant differences in the Emotional Deprivation, Mistrust/Abuse, Unrelenting Standards, Insufficient Self-Control and Entitlement/Grandiosity schemas among women with NPD (n = 65). The presence of these schemas in the group with NPD suggests paranoid tendencies, empathic difficulties, impulsivity, feelings of superiority and the development of utilitarian interpersonal relationships. These characteristics would constitute one of the most severe presentations of NPD.
