| Sumario: | Ethnic-racial discrimination (ERD) is a social problem in Peru that has been present from colonial times to the present day. The aim of this article is to systematically review the publications in SCOPUS, Web of Science, and Scielo on ERD in the Peruvian context. A total of 168 articles were found, 42 met the eligibility criteria using the PRISMA methodology. The findings conclude that studies of ERD in Peru have focused on labor/wage inequalities, poor access to health and education, segregation, criminalization /sexualization of foreign migrants, analysis of policies for the protection of minority groups, and analysis of racist/racialized discourses, which especially affect the indigenous population, Amazonian natives and Afro-Peruvians. This is the first systematic review in Peru to address this issue; the findings provide an opportunity for further research to address the theoretical gaps and methodological limitations in the study of ERD. |
