Sumario:The aim of the present study was the analyses of attentional trajectories in Argentinean primary school children with and without over-age, and the identification of potential sociocultural modulators of such trajectories, based on the parental educational and occupational levels. The sample comprised 183 children from 8 to 13years-old (n = 121 boys; n = 62 without over-age), who attended 3rd- to 6 th -grade in public schools from the city of Mendoza (Argentina). The FACES Test (Thurstone & Yela, 2012) was administered three times during one year to assess the attentional performance. After the implementation of mixed models analyses results showed that children with and without over-age showed different attentional trajectories, and that father education was a predictor of children attentional trajectory.
