The reception of the Revolution will be analyzed since its beginning and the most significant events until the Bahia de Cochinos conflict, from the perspective of this group of Uruguayan intellectuals. The experience of the Cuban Revolution allows these Uruguayan intellectuals to establish a connection with the Latin-American reality and to project a revolutionary future in a region, which due to its historic origin shares the same problems related to dependency. In order to carry out this work, some issues of the weekly paper Marcha will be used which are linked to the Cuban Revolution.  El presente trabajo tiene como objetivo explorar el impacto de la Revolución Cubana en el Semanario Marcha. Estas hojas buscarán recorrer la recepción de la Revolución desde sus inicios, los acontecimientos más significativos del proceso. Hasta el conflicto de Bahía de Cochinos, desde la óptica del grupo de intelectuales uruguayos. La experiencia de la Revolución Cubana permite a los intelectuales uruguayos establecer un puente con la realidad Latinoamérica y proyectar un futuro revolucionario en una región que por procedencia histórica comparte los mismos problemas vinculados a la dependencia. Para la realización del trabajo se utilizará números del Semanario de Marcha vinculados a la Revolución Cubana.  Facultad de Filosofía y Humanidades.
