Sumario:The History of Present Time (HPT) is a type of historiographical practice under construction within the discipline we know as History. It shows the path taken by the HPT from the recognition of contemporary history as a historiographical period, which responds to the historical changes that occurred after the first and Second World War, as well as the displacement in favor of scientific knowledge produced in the century. XX that makes up the modern vision about things and the universe, but also to a change in the disciplinary paradigm of history that now allows opening the debate of the present as a historiographical field susceptible to the examination of the historian in collaboration with the social sciences. The case of contemporary Mexican historiography is included as a sample button.
