| Sumario: | Changes and transformations are underway, not only in tangible assets, but above all in the way individuals work, live and relate in society. It is in this context that we have to understand the importance of microelectronics and the production of semiconductors. This work analyzes policies, instruments, planning, governance, management and results of the CEITEC chip factory, Center of Excellence in Advanced Electronic Technology, located in Porto Alegre, RS, Brazil, the only complete solution in Latin America. Result of fundamental public policies, associated with academia and the business sector, the study investigates the step-by-step mastery and ability to research, develop, prototype, manufacture and market chips, proposing suggestions and adjustments to its impasses. And beyond the importance of overcoming the technological deficit of the country and the region in the field of semiconductors, where its knowledge and expertise in the subject are the main intangible assets to transform technological innovation into value for organizations and society. |
