Sumario:The aim of this article is to identify in Proustian novel a philosophical dimension that allows us to consider Marcel Proust a philosopher-writer and the Recherche a philosophy of the sensible. To this end, first, we will seek to identify certain characteristics present in Proust's novel and his correspondence that allow us to consider him a philosopher and, on the basis of an approach based on Merleau-Ponty's phenomenology, to delimit certain aspects of the Recherche that invite us to establish it as a model of a work in which a philosophy of the sensible, understood as literature, can be identified. Secondly, we will analyse a passage in the novel referring to Albertine in which can be identified a sensible idea expressed through literature. Finally, we will refer to certain lines of research opened up by the preceding reflection.
