| Sumario: | In the theoretical framework of generative grammar now, and since the clitic SE has been considered an aspectual operator, we review representative studies on the Spanish SE constructions, and try to systematize the semantic and syntactic features of the clitic. It requires consideration of whether it is the same or different element in cases of SE paradigm and those that include the brand or mark various syntactic processes. Some of the questions that arise are, among others, which would provide the semantic nuance morpheme to sentence meaning, if absorbed arguments, thematic roles and semantic features with consequences in syntax and in what circumstances, and whether or no impact on aspectual values of the event represented by the predicate and what his role.We seek, in order to determine the relationship of SE with aspectuality, reflexivity and the semantic notion of cause, and appreciate their role in processes and destransitivacion desagentivacion through contrasts in alternating constructions. |
