| Sumario: | The paper aims to investigate the Julio Cortázar’s Cuban experience and writing through a text series framing the publication of the novels Rayuela and Libro de Manuel, configured around a set of notes, letters and prefaces. This network makes it possible to review some of the positions of the Argentine writer, particularly the discussions on the relationship between aesthetics and politics, and his rejection of the dogmatism he perceived in the stance of many intellectuals around him. Secondly, these dialogues can be reread as a poetic constellation whose epicenter is governed by a reading of Paradiso. |
