| Sumario: | The socio-educational research project that gives rise to this text explores the meanings that teachers and teachers construct about the intercultural and bilingual in the design of texts for initial literacy with indigenous school populations. Through it, the right of indigenous peoples to read and write in their language and the University's commitment to include this right in their agenda is deepened. In this context we ask ourselves from the study of texts for teaching about the indigenous subject and the indigenous language in initial literacy processes, for which we retrieve curricular material for teachers who base their methodological proposals on bilingual and intercultural literacy. The work is carried out from qualitative methodologies and epistemologies that allow to approach the teaching practices in their character of personal experience and social memory. The context of inquiry covers geographical areas of the lower Chaco region where the majority of the indigenous population of the Province of Salta resides; with population representation also in Argentina. |
