Sumario:Creative tourism is positioned as an emerging strategy within the orange economy, capable of promoting sustainability and converting local cultural wealth into concrete development opportunities for communities, especially in rural contexts. In this sense, the objective of this paper is to critically analyze the potential of creative tourism to dynamize the socioeconomic growth of these localities, taking advantage of their territorial particularities and cultural identity. Through bibliographic research with a theoretical approach, we explore the dynamics of this tourism model and reflect on the key strategies for its integrated management. The findings highlight the importance of a community and collaborative vision, where local actors assume an active role in the design and execution of authentic experiences. It is concluded that creative tourism should be planned from the endogenous potential of territory as a way to rediscover sustainable alternatives for progress and respond to the growing demand of tourists seeking a meaningful cultural immersion.
