| Sumario: | The article investigates the history of the city as a subject of study, from a critical perspective, aiming to understand how the trajectories and evolutions of the Chicago School, Critical Theory and School of Angels, have influenced the empirical studies on cities. Then it is analyzed their influence on the construction and formation of urban spaces, and the different ways proposed tofind solutions to urban problems. It seeks to rescue the potential of these theories, as one of the necessary inputs, but not the only one, for the current construction of the scope and content of the Right to the City |
