Descripción
Sumario:This article aims to analyze a publication of the Unión Cívica Radical in Santiago del Estero and its various ideological and programmatic positions during the early 1930s. In the context of a reconfiguration of Radicalism at the national level, and the growing dispersion of local Radicalism, a group of politicians linked to the National Committee sought through this magazine to articulate a set of distinctive principles and ideas, on the one hand, and to deploy arguments and discussions on electoral tactics, on the other. In the context of the growing fictionalization of Radicalism in the province, we argue that Acción Radical aimed to configure elements of discursive differentiation concerning other self-proclaimed radical groupings and, at the same time, to consolidate a clear democratic and anti-fascist preaching.
