The analysis will be carried out from the theoretical perspective of electoral geography. This is a documentary research project that correlates electoral behavior with poverty conditions to understand how residents voted in five municipal elections in Acatepec, Atlamajalcingo del Monte, Atlixtac, Cochoapa El Grande, José Joaquín Herrera, Metlatónoc, and Tlalixtaquilla de Maldonado.
