| Sumario: | The objective of this study is to understand how poor people vote in Guerrero, considering the municipalities that appear in the Poverty and Evaluation Reports of the National Council for the Evaluation of Social Development Policy as the poorest in the subnational entity. The results of five electoral processes will be analyzed, taking into account the winning party with data from the Electoral and Citizen Participation Institute. The analysis will be carried out from the theoretical perspective of electoral geography. This is a documentary research project that correlates electoral behavior with poverty conditions to understand how residents voted in five municipal elections in Acatepec, Atlamajalcingo del Monte, Atlixtac, Cochoapa El Grande, José Joaquín Herrera, Metlatónoc, and Tlalixtaquilla de Maldonado. |
