The results of five electoral processes will be analyzed, taking into account the winning party with data from the Electoral and Citizen Participation Institute. The analysis will be carried out from the theoretical perspective of electoral geography. This is a documentary research project that correlates electoral behavior with poverty conditions to understand how residents voted in five municipal elections in Acatepec, Atlamajalcingo del Monte, Atlixtac, Cochoapa El Grande, José Joaquín Herrera, Metlatónoc, and Tlalixtaquilla de Maldonado. El objetivo de este trabajo es el de conocer cómo votan los pobres en Guerrero, considerando los municipios que aparecen en los Informes de Pobreza y Evaluación del Consejo Nacional de Evaluación de la Política de Desarrollo Social como los más pobres de la entidad subnacional, se analizarán los resultados de cinco procesos electorales tomando en cuenta al partido ganador con datos del Instituto Electoral y de Participación Ciudadana, el análisis se realizará desde el enfoque teórico de la geografía electoral. Se trata de una investigación documental, que correlaciona el comportamiento electoral con las condiciones de pobreza, para conocer el sentido del voto de los habitantes a lo largo de cinco elecciones municipales en Acatepec, Atlamajalcingo del Monte, Atlixtac, Cochoapa El Grande, José Joaquín Herrera, Metlatónoc, y Tlalixtaquilla de Maldonado.
