The reflection that emerges from these experiences challenges some theoretical and conceptual notions on which anthropology is based to analyze the alterities outside the hegemonic family model. The centering bias of analysts has become a distorting factor in approaching family and kinship models in non-Western societies. The new lenses brought to us by feminism, the sexual liberation movements of the 60's and dissident minorities allow us to make a revisionism of the inherited categories to analyze the family institution. And this is in turn an opportunity to reflect on the structuring incidence that a family model has on other spheres of life and social institutions, among which we can include not only inheritance and private property, but even nation-states. Se realiza una reseña de un libro de reciente edición cuyo eje reflexivo gira en torno a las redes afectivas y de cuidados que surgen desde las minorias LGBTTQI+. La reflexión que surge de estas experiencias interpela algunas nociones teoricas y conceptuales sobre las cuales se valión la antropología para analizar las alteridades por fuera del modelo familiar hegemónico. El sesgo centado de los analistas se habria transformado en un distoricionador para abordar los modelos familiares y de parentesco de las sociedades no occidentales. La nuevas lentes que nos aporta el feminismo, los movimientos de liberación sexual de los 60' y las minorias disidentes nos posibilitan hacer un revisionismo de las categorias heredadas para analizar la insitución familia.
