| Sumario: | Within the framework of understanding suggested by the Anthropocene category, this article focuses on the problem of the energy transition and the exploitation of lithium in territories belonging to the provinces of Salta and Jujuy (Argentina), territories inhabited by indigenous communities. This paper analyzes the position of the communities themselves based on a document issued by them in 2015, and from the category of "new anthropocene subjectivities", vital experiences that constitute potential and active responses in Anthropocene time. From a position that ponders the crucial difference between "knowledge from nowhere" and "situated knowledge", the value of situated research is pointed out as essential to better understand global processes and problems. |
