Este artículo examina el Soft Power como clave en la estrategia de ascenso pacífico de China, enfocándose en América Latina y Argentina. Desde su adopción en 1978, China ha buscado un crecimiento económico y una presencia global equilibrada. Se destaca la apertura de Institutos Confucio como herramienta clave. El análisis se centra en la adopción del Soft Power en la política exterior china, su aplicación en la relación con América Latina y Argentina, y su manifestación práctica a través de los Institutos Confucio. Se resalta el papel de estos en la difusión del conocimiento chino y su potencial para mejorar las relaciones bilaterales, especialmente en el ámbito comercial y educativo.
