| Sumario: | Zoltán Boldizsár Simon is a researcher at the University of Bielefeld. He has been an assistant professor at the University of Leiden and a visiting professor at the Max Planck Institute for the History of Science. He has written on the theory and philosophy of history, on historical time and questions of temporality, and on the challenges posed by technology and the Anthropocene to modern historical thought. In this paper we propose to analyze the central terms of their proposal and how they can be a contribution in the framework of contemporary Historical Archaeology. We maintain that the transdisciplinary vision underlying Simon is fundamental to incorporate discussions in Historical Archaeology anchored together with changes in the notions of History, historicity, time and temporality. It is a way to explore and integrate concepts ranging from the human, technological and natural world, located in the 21st century. |
