Sumario:This article presents a compilation of literary works with Afro themes for children published in Colombia during the first two decades of the 21st century, emphasizing the productions of Afro-descendant authors and those generated by social organizations and communities. This collection includes materials that are distributed both nationally and locally, contributing to collective or individual efforts to highlight processes of Afro-descendant advocacy and recognition of their contributions, as well as public policies or governmental programs. It employs theoretical criteria related to aesthetic, thematic, and authorship aspects of the works as reading keys. From a critical intercultural perspective, the article provides initial reflections on the representational proposals and their examination, promotion, and incorporation in the educational sphere.
