| Sumario: | The present article proposes a first systematic approach to the recent initiatives of scientific and technological cooperation with Latin American countries, since the creation of the Ministry of Science, Technology and Productive Innovation (MINCYT) of Argentina. More precisely, it studies the policy guidelines and instruments through which the MINCYT develops bilateral cooperation with Latin American countries during the period 2007-2015. The discussion of the results comes within the framework of the science and technology policy and the foreign policy in Argentina, characterized by placing international cooperation with Latin America as a priority axis for the country. The conclusions indicate different initiatives of scientific-technological collaboration of Argentina with Latin American countries in topics which are relevant to the countries involved. |
