| Sumario: | In this article we aim to analyze the new feminine imaginary in relation to nature, as represented by Ada Elflein. We will begin by approaching gender as a historical and cultural construct, which means that what is understood as feminine or masculine is not a stable dichotomy and it is not necessarily linked to biological features. The breach of a woman’s duty, of what women are expected to feel and do, will be addressed in three key points. These points propose a shift in the image of women based on their relationship with nature. We will be taking into account the configuration of femininity, landscape and women’s imaginary, focusing on the author’s case as a female adventurer in nature. |
