Sumario:With the advent of the pandemic caused by the new SARS-CoV-2 virus and the scant scientific evidence regarding pharmacological treatments and vaccines for massive campaigns, population measures became fundamental tools. The different modalities of implementation of non-pharmacological population interventions define strategies that have been proposed, projected in mathematical models and / or implemented in different places around the wolrd. A narrative review of the different strategies, their grounds, their characteristics and some background of usage was carried out with the aim of providing an input for government authorities in decision-making in terms of dealing with the current pandemic.
