Carl Schmitt’s critique to Fredrich Julius Stahl’s Rechtsstaat

The main aim of this article is: a) to reconstruct the contributions of F. J. Stahl, especially regarding the monarchical principle and the Rule of Law; b) to present and assess the criticisms that C. Schmitt has addressed to both concepts.
