In that context, the constitution of the Agrupación de Trabajo Cultural within the Movimiento de Independientes 26 de Marzo and the Frente Amplio political party is analyzed. It is taken into consideration, on the one hand, the politicization itinerary of the Uruguayan visual artist Teresa Vila and the development of a series of artworks called “Las veredas de la Patria Chica”. On the other hand, the film "La bandera que levantamos" is examined, made by Uruguayan filmmakers Mario Jacob and Eduardo Terra.
